Well my Chicago Heights to Atlanta load ended up in Murphreesboro, TN, but that's ok because I picked up a loaded trailer at the same place that I dropped that one and kept right on rolling.
The load that I picked up was going to Russellville, AR but wasn't to deliver for a few days. I dropped that trailer on the yard in West Memphis, AR and deadheaded to Saint Louis, MO to pick up a loaded trailer going to Mesquite, TX. The loaded and empty miles that they are paying me for are the most accurate that I've ever experienced. I am pleased with Tango!
Ok, that's all for now. If you are interested in becoming a company driver or owner/operator for Tango Transport call 1-866-898-4580 Ext 6694 and tell them Brady sent you.
God bless you in all you do!

Got my load off today in Butler, IN. I was empty only a minute when dispatched to Chicago Heights, IL to pick up a FedEx load to Atlanta. Tango seems to keep you running pretty good, I just hope it stays good.
I'm thinking about doing the lease purchase program with them, but gonna wait and see if things stay the same.

Since I've not updated this week let me just give a quick run down.
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday were our orientation days. Wednesday we road tested and were assigned our trucks. I must admit that I was not impressed with the truck we got as a team, but oh well.
We drove about 50 miles south to pick up our first dispatch. Campti, LA to Louisville, KY. Not a bad first run for a team. Then we dead headed from there to Indianapolis to pick up a FedEx load going to Laredo, TX. From there we got an H.E.B. load going back to Coushatta, LA near our home terminal in Sibley, LA.
Once in Sibley we had to put the truck in the shop for the day. Seems the trip was too much for the old gal. Starter went out, and power steering pump blew a hose. While in the shop we received a phone call offering us a couple of solo positions. We took the offer. I kept our old truck and Paul ended up in an 07 Columbia.
Today is Tuesday and my first day as a solo driver for Tango. Kinda got off to a slow start today but will end up good for the week. I now have a load taking me from Louisiana to northern Indiana.

Finally out of orientation this evening. The people at Tango really seem like good folks.
My co-driver and me got our truck assignment, a 2006 International 9400. Not a very nice truck at all.
We are currently loading our first load in Campti, LA and taking it to Louisville, KY. ttyl

#1 GETTIN STARTED
Sunday night in a hotel in Shreveport, LA, I am waiting for orientation to begin. I have been in the transportation industry since 1996. I have recently been hired to come to work for Tango Transport as a team driver with a good friend of mine Paul Clark. We are only teaming together for a short time as we both want to go solo asap.
I will be keeping track of my day to day activities on this blog throughout my time here at Tango Transport. My intentions are to eventually buy my own truck and become a contract driver for Tango and hopefully buy more trucks over time.
Your comments are welcome! Thanks for stopping by!
