Not every member of your body has the same purpose. However, the foot has as great of a function as the hand. As followers of The Master we are all of the same body, but are we all "like-minded"?

We all have a common spiritual heritage and a common fullfilment of purpose, but our abilities and personal characteristics help to categorize our walk. This helps us to identify kinship with fellow believers. It is very important that we find "like-minded" fellowship, and grow together with those believers, while loving those that we don't have the common short term connection with. In other words, you have your place in the body of Messiah. That place may be equivalent to being a foot. The foot has no business trying to do things that a hand is to do. All though they are connected to the same body they have completely different purposes.
I see on social media every single day members of the same body bashing each other and correcting each other because they don't understand this very simple concept and metaphor, "The Body of Messiah." Noses telling ears how to smell and that if they are not doing that they just cannot be saved. Feet telling hands how to walk and hands telling feet how to hold a Coke bottle. It's both silly and sad. People seem to be seeking out others to correct just for the sake of sparking a debate. A very public debate that does nothing for building the kingdom.
My advice is this. Realize that everyone is a heretic to someone, including me and including you. Go find a group of LIKEMINDED believers that fellowship together in person, not on the internet. Grow together with them every week. Become accountable to a real group of people.
There is no accountability online with social media groups or youtube. None of us have it all together. NONE OF US!
